umod

An Unreal / UT .umod file installer written in Python. I wrote it in a couple of hours after finding that the other one couldn't install Operation Na Pali (at least not on my system) because it starts off by reading the whole .umod file into memory, and ONP is big.

Anyway, here are the advantages of using this one over the Perl one:

• It supports the AddIni command
• It only reads the bits of the file it needs
• It understands the binary file format (umodpack.pl reads some text at the start, which might not work with .umod files made by some tools)
• It's not written in Perl, so maintaining it ought to be less of a chore :)

It's released under the GPL.
